HRRV successfully defends dentist against Medicaid allegations before the OPD

Using careful forensic analysis of Medicaid records and good old fashion investigation techniques, HRRV attorneys successfully resolved a disciplinary investigation brought by the Office of Professional Discipline and Medicaid authorities which were levied against a  dental professional arising from the treatment of Medicaid patients.

After conducting random audits which allegedly revealed  financial discrepancies, the matter was referred to OPD for investigation and hearings. In defense of the client, HRRV lawyers went to work securing the testimony of witnesses and reconstructing financial records from Medicaid and the client’s practice which revealed that there was no discrepancy and that the error, in fact, arose in the Medicaid audit. After presenting the client’s defense, the investigation was resolved without further action.
