AttorneysGregg Scharaga focuses his practice on the defense of premises liability matters, including those brought against residential and commercial properties, bars, night clubs, summer camps and recreational venues. He also handles matters arising from construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, product defects and claims of environmental impairment. Immediately prior to joining HRRV, Gregg served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department. In that capacity, Gregg was assigned to the units defending claims arising from the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the 2003 Staten Island Ferry accident. He also litigated claims for the City Law Department’s Special Litigation Unit. Gregg is a 1999 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary. He is a 2002 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a member of the Hofstra Law Review.
